New Brian Wilson Website Offers Access to Demos, Rare and Unreleased Live Tracks
New Timeline feature enables fans to listen to music over four decades
Brian Wilson’s official website - http://brianwilson.com - has been redesigned to offer a complete history of Wilson’s Beach Boys and solo career. An immersive timeline experience allows visitors to learn more about Brian Wilson’s career with rare photos, unreleased music and Wilson talking about many of his classic songs, through each decade of his life. A Tour section includes photos of Wilson and his band, and offers rare backstage rarely or unseen videos and photos.
The Timeline includes Wilson’s piano demos to five songs from 1977’s The Beach Boys Love You album. The 1980s is represented by many demos and unreleased tracks Wilson recorded after years of inactivity. The 1990s features key demos, including several from the mid-1990s “Wilson-Paley” sessions. Wilson’s 2007 demos for his That Lucky Old Sun album are also available for the first time.
To help introduce the new Timeline feature, an original video features a brand-new remix for Brian’s 1995 demo recording of “Desert Drive,” taking viewers on a desert drive trip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.
Wilson is happy to make more music available to his fans. “We decided to put up some cool demos, outtakes and live tracks that you haven’t heard before. I hope you dig listening to them as much as we did making them.”
The Timeline will be updated periodically with new audio and video content. Fans are encouraged to sign up at Brian Wilson.com for news and new music updates.
