Brian Wilson & Barry Gibb: “Let’s Collaborate”

Brian Wilson was quoted on Instagram about his admiration for the Bee Gee’s Barry Gibb, calling him a “King Kong” songwriter. Shortly thereafter, Barry Gibb responded saying “If I’m King Kong then you are Godzilla!” Both musicians are on record about their love of each other’s music, with Brian calling the Bee Gees “Too Much Heaven” one of his favorite songs and the group’s most spiritual. Barry has long been a fan of Brian’s and specifically “God Only Knows.” Barry offered to connect with Brian and even collaborate.
